Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 03, 2026
At ToolLab, our main priority is the privacy and security of our users. This Privacy Policy document outlines how we handle the information and files you upload to our platform while using our e-commerce and utility tools.
1. Information We Collect (and Don't Collect)
We believe in minimalism when it comes to your data. ToolLab is designed to be used without requiring a user account. Therefore, we do not collect Personal Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
The only automated information we collect is standard server log files, which include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamps, and referring/exit pages. These log files are used solely for analyzing trends, administering the site, and preventing abuse. They are not linked to personally identifiable information.
2. How We Handle Your Files (100% Client-Side Processing)
ToolLab provides tools that process sensitive e-commerce documents, including shipping labels, invoices, and product images. We protect your privacy by processing your files entirely on your local device:
- No File Uploads: When you select or drag-and-drop a file (e.g., a PDF label or an image) for processing, it is processed directly inside your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to, or stored on, our servers.
- Zero Server Retention: Because your documents never leave your computer, we do not store, cache, or retain any of your file data. Your customer addresses, order IDs, and images remain completely private to you.
- No Data Mining: We do not read, extract, analyze, or harvest the information contained in your files for any purpose whatsoever.
- Local Security: By performing all calculations and edits locally in the browser, your data is completely secure from transit intercepts, server leaks, or third-party exposure.
3. Cookies and Web Beacons
Like most websites, ToolLab uses "cookies" to enhance your user experience. Cookies are small files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences (such as dark mode settings) and analyze website traffic. You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options.
4. Third-Party Services
To keep ToolLab free forever, we may use third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdSense) that use technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons to serve relevant advertisements. These third-party ad servers automatically receive your IP address when determining which ads to display. You can review the privacy policies of these third-party vendors for more detailed information and opt-out options.
5. Consent
By using ToolLab to streamline your e-commerce operations, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
